The fall season has come upon us once again, and that means that people are rushing to go to a pumpkin patch with their family and friends to do fun activities and take memorable pictures.
In the suburbs of Chicago, there are well over 40 different patches you could visit, with varying activities as well as prices. Lots of them have corn mazes, haunted barns, pig races, farm animals, corn boxes, and many more fun activities.
Some of the most popular pumpkin patches people in our area enjoy going to annually are Bengston’s Pumpkin Farm, Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm, and Sonny Acres Farm.
“Bengtson’s Pumpkin Farm by far is one of my most favorite pumpkin patches, this past weekend I got to spend the day there with my girlfriend. We enjoyed every moment of it, especially the pig races and the fun places to take pictures,” said Alan Guzman (sophomore).
This past Columbus Day many people took advantage of the day off from school and work and went to visit some pumpkin patches.
Ashley Chigna (senior) went to Goebbert’s Pumpkin Farm this past Columbus Day and said, “this is something I do every fall season especially with my family, I would have to say my favorite part is the corn box, it was really fun sinking in the corn.”
The season to go to Pumpkin Patches is back … and you won’t want to miss a day full of fun fall activities. So make sure to visit one around you soon!
