The standard Series 5 starts at $399, while the cellular model starts at $499.
Now for the Piece of Resistance, the iPhone. New fun and fresh colors start it off with Purple, Yellow, Green, White, Space Grey, and Product Red. The base iPhone 11 comes with a 6.1” Liquid Retina Display, and Dolby Atmos Surround Sound. The phone is powered by the new A13 Bionic chip paired with a 13-hour battery.
The new dual-camera setup is packed with new features; 26mm wide-angle, 13mm ultra-wide-angle that provides a 120-degree field of view, and is packed with more AI,
new Night Mode, and Portrait mode improvements all to make you a better mobile photographer.
Video also saw some improvements; better stabilization, quality, and Extended Dynamic Range.
There is also a new feature QuickTake, which allows you to take a video without having to switch to the video page in your camera app, just by pressing and holding onto the shutter button.
The new 12mp front camera is also an improvement to the recent iPhones we had from apple, Obviously, the quality has improved but we also got better stabilization, better dynamic range, and a slow-mo feature (which Apple likes to call “Slofie”). This base iPhone 11 starts at $699, which is down from the starting price of the iPhone XR that launched at $749 in 2018.
The iPhone 11 Pro & Pro Max come with similar specs, but with some more interesting features for the Pro user of Apple Products. Phil Schiller came of stage bravely saying that “Pro’s can count on” the Pro models of the iPhone 11. With the “Pro” tag on the name comes a different design change from the base iPhone 11 Matte finish on the glass that’s sculptured from one sheet of glass, the colors are NEW Midnight Green, updated Space Grey, Silver, and Gold. The OLED screen on this iPhone is what Apple calls “Super Retina XDR” that’s 5.8” and 6.4” in size, and it’s Dolby Vision and Atmos Quality.
You finally get a fast charger from Apple inside the box. This “Pro” model comes with a controversial 3 camera design; 26mm Wide Camera, Tele 52mm, and 13mm Ultra Wide Angle. Apple also introduced “Deep Focus” which is supposed to use AI to improve image quality and remove noise from photographs. Video is also improved drastically with 4k, Extended Dynamic Range, and all 3 of the camera’s in the Pro model are calibrated in the factory, and they all work at the same time, so when you change POVs in the camera you’ll have a smooth seamless transition between the 3 lenses. The iPhone Pro starts at $999 while the Pro Max model starts at $1099.
Pre Orders for all iPhones start this Friday, 13th at 5 am PDT (7 am Central)
